We co-hosted Disabled Pride in the Park with the Clean Air Network, a covid safer picnic featuring an outdoor, clothed figure drawing session. This event offered a rare example of a Pride gathering designed with accessibility and community care in mind. Unlike most large Pride events — including SF Trans March — which do not include measures to prevent the spread of disabling illness, Disabled Pride prioritized health through masking, testing, and creating a designated area for eating.
